INSTALLATION OF VOID ACOUSTICS ‘TRI MOTION’ SOUND SYSTEM

The venue were looking to upgrade an existing nexo system which had been in place for a long time and also wanted something with a visual aesthetic as well as high fidelity sound. With that brief we specified void acoustics. Well known for their festival grade sound re-inforcement and recognisable modern appearance.

More specifically a quadraphonic setup of four tri-motion top speakers combined with two Stasy 218 sub bass cabinets was installed. Mechanical installation and positioning of the top speakers was carefully considered. Having a quad setup provided a completely immersive dance-floor experience and placing both subs together at one side of the room provided power-house sub bass while minimising potential cancellations. A robust XTA 4226 digital signal processor at the front end allowed for system tests, tuning and protection to be reliably implemented.
